Do you ever think about what you want in life? I never used to; it used to just come so easy. I wanted to hang out with friends, wanted to drive my car (I really enjoy driving), wanted to just do whatever. Now……. now, those things seem so far away and the choices seem so much more abundant and harder to choose. Continue reading

Happy Thursday y’all!
I’m so glad you stopped by to see how things are going here around the Demott house. The grown-ups (my dear hubby and I) have both been under the weather so it’s been kind of a drag. Anyhoo, we’re on the mend so I’m thankful for that. Continue reading
Strange Magic…and movie
Last Saturday was the littlest’s birthday celebration with her friends. She decided that she wanted to see a movie, more specifically, she wanted to see “Annie”. I thought that was a great idea and as of Monday, it was in the theatre. So, Friday came along and as I was trying to nail down movie times, I realized that it was no longer showing in a theatre near us….drat. Continue reading
Do you Spotify?
***For the record, this is not a sponsored post and Spotify does not know that I am writing this. This is just my personal opinion from my personal experience***
So, I’m not always up-to-date on technology, and maybe this has been out for sooooo long and I didn’t know about it, but I recently discovered Spotify. Spotify is an online music player. I’ve used Pandora, and most of the time I like it, but I always find myself wishing I had more control over what songs are actually playing, or wishing for a bigger variety of songs that I could group into a category; Spotify gives me both of these options. Happy Birthday to the littlest
Day two of the blog and so far so good. I haven’t told anyone yet, I’m just going to post until I can fake enough confidence to not be scared out of my mind at what people will think of me for starting a blog.
I always thought that I would be a better “boy mom”. I’m not a girly-girl and am way more into sports than pedicures. However, the good Lord always knows better than we do because he blessed us with one strong but tender-hearted boy and two independent and loving girls.
To get on with things, today is our youngest child’s fifth birthday. She is so full of life and energy and love and compassion that it makes my heart sing. She loves unconditionally and is always the first to give up her last piece of candy to another. She is smart and thoughtful and insightful and silly.
I am so grateful for her every day. She has made our family complete and brought so much joy to our lives.
Jocelyn, we love you more than your sweet self can even imagine. We pray for you everyday and hope that you hold on to that love and innocence that you possess. I’m so happy for the child that you are and for the woman that you will become. Just remember, always put God first and DREAM BIGGER than the Moon! ❤ Mom
So there it is, the obligatory note to a child who in all likeliness will never read this. At least you get to enjoy it!
Thanks for stopping by; hope you come back soon.
